About the course

Learn to use the Bible as a prayer book. Walk with P. Douglas Small through the Bible. We'll read it, identify the big ideas of the passage, pray those ideas back to God, then listen. God wants to talk to us more than we want to talk to Him. Then, through the enabling power of the Holy Spirit, we want to experience the passage, enter its promises, and be changed. We call this the R-I-P-L-E model: Read, Identify, Pray, Listen, Enter. The weekly class is FREE, but to acquire the resources, you must subscribe. 

Practical

The ongoing course is designed to teach an acquired skill, enabled by the Holy Spirit, of understanding Scripture, and being changed by it. 

Transferable

Principles learned each week are both taught and caught. With these tools, one is able to immediately impart the ideas to others, informally or in a classroom. 

Transformative

Whether you teach the principles formally to others, or share them informally, the goal is your own transformation, in prayer, over an Open Bible. This is how God changes us to be like Christ.

Course Lessons

P. Douglas Small

P. Douglas Small began his pastoral ministry in 1969. He served in Bible College education for a decade. He then worked with the International Renewal's Pastors Prayer Summit movement for seven years. He served as an International Denominational Prayer Leader for 14 years, and is the founder of the PCCNA Prayer Commission, a collage of denominational prayer leaders. He has authored more than twenty books on prayer and prayer-related topics.
